About Yarixa Ferrao | Embody Architects
Yarixa Ferrao, founder and CEO of Embody Architects
Founder, CEO & Leadership Architect

Meet Yarixa Ferrao.

She does not teach leaders how to look composed. She rebuilds the inner architecture that lets them remain clear when the room gets hard.

For more than twenty years, Yarixa has worked at the intersection of embodiment, emotional intelligence, and human performance. Her work is guided by one truth most leadership training misses: when the stakes rise, people do not rise to their strategy. They fall to the capacity of their nervous system.

Long before Embody Architects, she helped people transform how they related to their bodies, emotions, and potential. That work reached audiences through TLC, MTV, CNN en Español, Univision, Fitness Rx Radio, and Woman's Day—and became the foundation for the work she now brings into companies.

Today, Yarixa works with founders, CEOs, and senior teams to change what happens in the moments that shape culture: conflict, feedback, boundaries, pressure, and power. The goal is not softer leadership. It is leadership with greater range—firm without becoming cold, responsive without becoming reactive, and capable of holding the room without absorbing it.

A proud Puerto Rican who works in English and Spanish, Yarixa built Embody Architects around liberation: the freedom to lead and live without old survival patterns making the decisions.

The work beneath the work
Leadership does not break at the level of intelligence. It breaks at the level of the nervous system.

A leader can know the right framework and still avoid the conversation. They can understand culture and still transmit urgency, fear, or defensiveness through the room.

Embody Architects works beneath performance technique. The work develops the embodied capacity to stay present, communicate directly, repair tension quickly, and choose a response rather than repeat a reflex.

What shapes the method

Four principles behind the work.

The ELO Method treats regulation, relationship, and accountability as operating conditions for sustained performance—not extras added after strategy.

01

The body speaks first

Before a leader chooses their words, the room is already reading their pace, tone, tension, and presence.

02

Pressure reveals capacity

The true test of leadership is not what someone knows in calm conditions, but what remains available under strain.

03

Culture is transmitted

Culture lives in repeated interactions—especially how leaders handle disagreement, uncertainty, and repair.

04

Change must be embodied

An insight matters only when a leader can access it in the exact moment an old pattern usually takes over.
